| About Our Business Therapeutic Massage of Troy was opened in 1996 by Lin Gendron. Val & Sara Spencer joined her in 2000 and took over the business in 2004. We offer a serious approach to massage - more than the mere relaxation offered in many spas and salons although we can accommodate that approach as well. We encourage you to express your concerns and desires so that we may tailor your session to your needs and wants. |

Jack Val Spencer is a Nationally Certified and Licensed
Massage Therapist. He received his BA in speech at
UMKC and completed massage training at The Healing
Arts Center in St Louis, specializing in Myofascial
Release. He is also trained in Essential Oil Chemistry,
Vitaflex Technique, RaindropTreatment, Reiki, Color
Therapy, Therapeutic Touch, Hot Stone Therapy and
Emotional Release with Essential Oils. He draws on this
varied training to customize your massage session after a
comprehensive interview. He nearly always uses
essential oils in his massages and often uses hot stones
as well. He is open and receptive to your questions and
concerns and will always strive to make your session the
most beneficial and pleasurable experience possible.
